What is #LearnInATX?
RCYF is launching the #LearnInATX campaign as a strategy for helping communities that are the most at-risk from being displaced in the digital revolution. The two-year campaign includes three phases to help families gain the skills and jobs to survive and thrive in the new digital economy. Initially the campaign will work in the underserved community of southeast Austin's Dove Springs and then expand to other vulnerable populations across the city.

The first Skill Saturday will take place on Saturday November 23, 2019.
Skill Saturdays are a day of learning and inspiration for youth and parents.
Families explore and build news skills.
They get guidance on creating a skills plan for their future. They earn rewards for completing their skill day.
New bilingual courses and trainings
will be offered at RCYF for youth and families whocomplete Skill Saturdays.
The training is focused on introductions to top tech careers and soft skills for the future, including cybersecurity, AI, project management, communication, and EQ.
The third phase of #LearnInATX is focused on job placement for the families that have completed training
and gained new skills. RCYF will
also expands its services to the
communities across ATX with
the highest needs.
